This 3-year degree course aims to is to provide each student with the education and training necessary for entry into the construction and property industry at Construction Manager technologist level.

This technical programme integrates theory with practical application to equip students with real life problem solving and communication skills and a broad understanding of construction technology, construction site management, building regulations, financial management, health and safety legislation and environmental protection.

Construction Management is the planning, coordination and control of a construction project from concept to completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time and on budget while adhering to the necessary environmental and health and safety standards.

Erasmus+ Work Placement in Europe
Selected students will have the opportunity to apply for three-week work experience project in a European city where they can experience another culture; learn the basics of another language and enhance professional and personal knowledge and training. This course includes the cost of travel and accommodation of participants.

This full-time one-year programme will introduce students to the world of Construction. The programme examines construction materials and safe methodologies, with emphasis on sustainable energy efficient dwellings and green technologies. Students will also attend training workshop, where they will examine a range of different construction methods, calculate the quantities of material required to construct a domestic dwelling, create AutoCAD drawings and experience first-hand the application of renewable energy technologies.

This course is aimed at people who wish to embark on a career or gain qualifications in the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy technology. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills associated with environmentally sustainable building and construction technology. The course enables students to develop practical skills in the areas of building construction and wood fabrication.
