The MAcc Advanced Accounting with Placement is an integrated undergraduate programme that combines undergraduate and Masters-level study in one four-year course.

The MAcc programme prepares students for a career in the accountancy profession. It contains lots of practical content, engagement with local employers and a work-based placement.

This course will enable students to work with world-renowned professional skincare and body products, such as Yonka, to develop practical expertise in a range of treatments. Students will complete case studies on guest clients for each module, performing treatments such as body massage and figure analysis, microdermabrasion, IPL, radiofrequency, microneedling and learning correct use of body electrical machines. 

As part of this Beauty Aesthetics and Body Treatments course, students actively design, set up and participate in the Institute’s commercial salon, which runs on a weekly basis. This experience empowers the students, building their confidence to make the transition to professional beauty therapist.

This advanced program is designed for students progressing from Level 5, focusing on high-level strategic marketing, business management, and financial oversight. This Advanced Certificate in Business Management and Accounting course is designed to equip learners with a portfolio of skills required in the financing, planning, marketing & management of a small business whilst also providing the necessary entry requirements for entry to Third level. Business Management students may have the opportunity to apply for a three-week Erasmus+ Placement during the academic year where they may work in a European business organisation. This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.

This one year Business Management with PR and Digital Marketing course provides learners with essential skills in planning, finance, and leadership. It also focuses on public relations, helping learners build strong brands and communicate effectively, as well as digital marketing to engage audiences online. Practical projects improve creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. By the end of the course, learners will feel confident and ready for success in business or further education. This Course is designed to: Provide learners with essential business skills, including planning, financial management, and leadership. Develop expertise in public relations to build strong brand identities and communicate effectively.

This course will equip learners (who already hold a QQI Level 5 related award or equivalent) with a range of skills and knowledge to implement and deliver community development programmes in a structured and co-ordinated way. It also provides a gateway to further study at Level 7 or Level 8.

The Early Learning and Care (Stage 2) course is designed to meet the needs of the growing childcare provision in Ireland and the Siolta Quality Framework and Aistear Curriculum. Many childcare settings are now seeking level 6 qualifications for their employees in line with the requirements of the ECCE scheme and new legislative requirements for the sector.

This is year 2 of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care (Level 6). Learners will be provided with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to supervise in a range of Early Years services for children aged 0-6 years. The learners will have acquired the knowledge, skills and competence to work as autonomous practitioners and to take responsibility for a room or area in an ELC setting. 

This Fashion Buying, Styling and Visual Merchandising course is the perfect opportunity to gain insider knowledge into the world of fashion from Styling to Fashion Buying, Fashion Promotion to Business Management including Event Management and Sales. This course enables learners to gain the knowledge, skills and expertise required for an exciting career in the fashion industry. Some of our past students are now enjoying careers as fashion stylists, fashion buyers and merchandisers. Students plan, prepare and participate in the annual GTI Fashion Showcase (fashion show and exhibition), a great example of GTI's projects for applied learning..

This course equips graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the Accountancy or Financial Services sector. The ACCA qualification enjoys full international recognition which qualifies its members to work anywhere in the world.  All books and materials are supplied and this is included in your course fee. Students can sit the session CBEs in Rathmines College during the year.

This course is designed to equip the student with the relevant knowledge, skills and competence to work using a range of specialised skills in a professional kitchen.The course provides the student with an opportunity to obtain experience in a wide range of specialised areas such as food and beverage services, bakeries and busy restaurants, while gaining a sound general knowledge in areas needed to function in the hotel and catering environment.
