Dream Space at Microsoft Ireland provides free immersive, research-based STEM experiences which are available to all students, teachers and communities more broadly, regardless of the technology or platform you use.
Through their hands-on approach, Dream Space aims to enhance their STEM knowledge and skills alongside crucial future-ready skills such as empathy, critical thinking, creativity, analytical thinking, ethical decision making and collaboration. Dream Space empowers everyone to see the power of digital technology and STEM in exciting new ways and the crucial role that these areas have now and into the future.

Guidance Counsellors
Benefit from two specific career supports that we have available:
- Register for support from our Dream Space Champions- The Dream Space Champions teams are Microsoft Ireland employees who have volunteered their time, skills, talents and passion for learning to support schools. Our Champions receive training from our teaching team and are equipped with best practice tips to ensure they can support schools in delivering a guest speaker session or be a representative at your School Careers Fair. - Embark on a journey of possibilities with 'Dream Space Champions - STEAM Careers.' This resource, featuring a booklet and presentation, explores careers in the technology sector, providing students insights into Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design, and Mathematics (STEAM) opportunities. Students, Teachers and Parents/Guardians:
If you are a teacher or parent/guardian that would like to provide access to our free STEM programming for a number of young people, you can begin on this straight away through the various mediums outlined below. If you are a student and under 18 years of age, please engage with your teacher in school or parent/guardian at home to decide on which resource below will work best for you to learn more about the fascinating world of technology.
- Dream Space TV: Dream Space TV brings students on a learning journey with a focus on computational thinking, creativity & problem-solving. Dream Space TV contains age applicable activities that allow teachers and young people to learn with Dream Space on demand! Our Dream Space TV resources include useful classroom guides, extension activities and curriculum links.
- Dream Space Digital Academy: The Dream Space Digital Academy is designed to provide a new medium for your school to empower students with engaging STEM learning opportunities, regardless of the technology you use. Pathways available include Web Design, Make Code, Minecraft Education, Programming with Python with Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and more to come across this year. The new approach for this year is designed to provide teachers with flexibility in how they want to engage students across the different learning pathways. On registering for one of the pathways, teachers will receive a link to access this browser-based content which can be shared directly to students to follow independently on their devices or can be used directly as a teacher-led resource. On completing pathways, teachers can register to receive certificates for their students and even move onto a new pathway to continue their learning journey. See more and register here.
- Dream Space Teacher: These Dream Space Teacher Packages aim to empower teachers to deliver Dream Space content during their classroom time or as independent learning modules for students. With digital resources including worksheets, video tutorials and teacher guides, our team will make sure that you and your students have the best possible experience. Discover the packages here.
- Dream Space LIVE events: Our Dream Space LIVE events allow classrooms across Ireland to join in bespoke interactive Dream Space events to explore STEM and digital learning in a new way over the course of the academic year. These events often correspond with themed educational weeks… but sometimes we like doing them just for fun too! Dream Space LIVE events will be available via our Upcoming Events page and are outlined a month in advance in our Dream Space newsletter
