A head person is the supervisor of the stable staff team in a racing yard and responsible for the smooth day to day running of a yard. The role is responsible for planning and scheduling the daily tasks in the yard ensuring a high standard of work is maintained by the stable staff team and that they are appropriately trained and developed and general care of thoroughbreds.
