Public health nurses (PHNs) are registered nurses with a specialist nursing qualification. They provide the core nursing and midwifery care in the community.

A paramedic is a trained professional who provides emergency medical care to people who are seriously ill or injured, with the primary goal of stabilising the patient before they are transported to a hospital.

Applies psychological knowledge in sport settings to help athletes, coaches or sports teams reach higher levels of performance. Understands the performance, mental processes and well-being of people involved in sport. 

Drivers providing the routine, non-emergency transport of patients, who are often older adults or people with disabilities, to and from hospitals.

Investigates and describes the causes and potential spread of disease, disability, or health outcomes. They may also engage in developing the means for prevention and control of infections.

Embryologists research and investigate the many causes of infertility through the study of an embryo, development of a foetus and human birth.

Yard staff are part of the stable staff team in a racing yard.  The role includes mucking out, feeding, grooming and maintaining the stables of a racing yard.

Oversees the day-to-day running of leisure centres in a range of settings, such as hotels, gyms, holiday/theme parks, and local authorities or universities.

A jockey is a professional sports athlete who is contracted by licensed trainers to ride horses at Race meetings for a riding fee.  Jockey’s must be in top physical shape and they must maintain appropriate riding weights, generally under 12 stone for Jump Racing and under 10 stone for Flat.

Involved in managing healthcare providers such as hospitals, health centres or large GP surgeries. Duties can range from staff management to budgeting and regulatory adherence.

Competes in a sport such as Gaelic Football, Rugby, Tennis, or Golf.
