Vision Mixers work with the director to cut between camera feeds during live broadcasts, selecting and sequencing shots to deliver the final visual output.

The First Assistant Director is the head of the AD department, they act as the director’s right-hand person on set to support their creative vision in a practical way. 

The First Assistant Editor supports the editor across all stages, coordinating with camera, sound, and post teams on technical specs, and managing delivery of daily rushes.

The Script Supervisor attends rehearsals to note and time the actor's delivery of dialogue and informs the Director if it's not consistent with the original timing of the script.

A Production Assistant supports smooth workflow by updating schedules, tracking tasks, coordinating between departments, taking meeting notes, and ensuring teams have necessary resources in 2D/3D animation production.

FX work often involves recreating an array of complex effects such as water or hair movement. The FX Lead develops initial setups and pipelines for a specific FX task, e.g. fur/hair/feathers. 

Uses needles and pigments to apply a permanent design directly to a client's body, injecting ink under a layer of skin.

Works within a production team in television and radio searching out information, locations, people and archive material for producers and writers of television and radio programmes.

Production Accountants are usually self-employed freelancers who manage financial reporting to the broadcaster in line with the production budget.

Uses a camera to record still images of people, places, events, occasions, medical settings and commercial property.

The 2D Supervisor works closely with the CG Supervisor and VFX Supervisor to ensure that all elements of the final shot align with the Director’s vision.

Performs and records with bands, artists and orchestras playing a musical instrument.
