Clerical Officer is a permanent role with a probation period of one year, while Temporary Clerical Officers are contracted for a fixed period (12+ weeks). Both roles are excellent starting points for a career in the public sector. To qualify for either role, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the requisite knowledge, skills and competencies required, have a good general level of education and/or experience, be at least 17 years of age on or before the date the role you are applying for is advertised and fulfil citizenship, health and character requirements as specified for the role at the time of advertising.
