Originally built in 1913, Lawlor's Hotel proudly stands on the Main Street in Naas, County Kildare and has been modernised to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The original façade harks back to the days when Lawlor's Ballroom was where many a romance began between couples from near and far.
Naas is ideally located in County Kildare, just off the M7, only 35 minutes from Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport, making it easy to get to and close to many great attractions in Ireland's Ancient East.
Kildare is full of points of interest and horse lovers will not be disappointed in the home of the sport of Kings.
If horses aren't your thing, Lawlor's of Naas boutique hotel in Kildare is also the perfect location for a relaxing stay in a traditional Irish Town. Naas is well known for having a great selection of independently owned boutiques and a growing selection of interior design and craft shops, your shopping experience starts right outside our front door. A trip along the Grand Canal on a barge could be a lovely way to spend an afternoon, where you can enjoy a cruise to Kildare Aqueduct and further along the Grand Canal, you can learn a little about these great waterways.

Placement Details
- To arrive at work on time and in the correct uniform
- To work in the food areas of the Hotel, during breakfast and lunch service
- To prepare the food service area for service of food - this may include polishing cutlery, stacking crockery, preparing glasses, jugs of water.
- To assist guests with their requirements - this may include helping a guest with their trays to their table
- To clear tables after a guest leaves by removing all dirty dishes, cutlery and glasses and taking them to the appropriate area
- To clean down the table and chair in accordance to Failte Ireland COVID19 Safety Charter
- To complete all task allocate to you by management
You will be allocated a buddy to work alongside, this will be someone who has experience in the role and they will guide you on how to perform the tasks required.
The list above is no exhaustive and you may be asked to complete other duties to allow you to experience what it is like to work within a hotel.
You will learn about hospitality, about good customer service and also about how the area you are working in fits into the hotel overall.
During the course of your work experience you will meet with human resources and they will talk to you about your plans for the future and if it is possible to help you with those plans.
