About Us:

The Slieve Russell Hotel is a luxury Four Star Hotel located in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.

Our facilities include Country Club Leisure Centre, Ciuin Spa & Wellness Centre, PGA National championship Golf Course, 3 Restaurants, 5 Bars and  Conference & Banqueting suites.

We employ 350 staff in over 50 different Job roles including Food & Beverage, Front Office,  IT, People & Culture, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Fitness, Spa Therapists, Golf Course & Kitchen.

Placement Details

Working alongside other work placement students to gain a real insight into careers and job roles provided in Hospitality:

  • Have a nominated mentor to take you through a Structured Individual work placement Training Plan
  • Be provided with Certified Training including full induction/on boarding, meet and greet the team, Certified training in Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Customer Service applicable to your chosen department.
  • Understanding of how to deliver excellent service
  • Learn how to work as part of a team
