The Twelve Hotel is Galway's multi award winning food and wine destination.

The Twelve is located in the coastal village of Bearna, just minutes from Galway city. It has been awarded Ireland’s top boutique hotel and consists of: 48 design led rooms, West Restaurant, the pins Gastrobar, pizza dozzina, a bakery shop, a spa and it even brews its own beers.

Placement Details

Introduction to the different departments in the hotel depending upon the candidates ability and suitability. The various departments are restaurant, housekeeping, shop and reception.

Activities include introduction to the hotel and its work ethos. Working in a department, you will learn the importance of each role and the contribution made by each team member. Everyone has a role to play, just like a position on a football team.

Activities include restaurant cleaning, polishing cutlery, serving guests, assisting in the shop, cleaning public areas and bedrooms, learning how to dress a bed correctly, assisting the reception team with their work.

Students are assigned to our TY mentor who will look after the successful candidates we take on. Your mentor will look after you and ensure your time with us is productive.
