The Seven Oaks Hotel is a 4 star hotel located a three minute walk from Carlow Town centre. The hotel offers state of the art leisure facilities, great food and friendly service.
From the moment guests arrive in the magnificent reception area of Carlow's Seven Oaks Hotel, they enjoy warm, Irish hospitality. The hotel has 89 individually designed bedrooms to meet the needs of diverse travellers, whether visiting for business or leisure. The rooms include ensuite bathroom, WiFi access, TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, ironing centre, tea and coffee making facilities, safety deposit box and additional amenities on request.
The hotel also provides options for dining, as guests can choose the intimate surroundings of TD Molloy’s Restaurant or the traditional ambiance of Oaks Bar, a favourite with locals and guests alike. When not indulging in the wonderful cuisine, visitors can focus on fitness at the Leisure Centre. Gaining experience in the following hotel departments:
Restaurant, Bar, Accommodation, Portering, Banqueting and Leisure Club.
- serving customers food and beverages
- using coffee machine
- clearing and cleaning tables
- cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
- setting meeting and function rooms
- cleaning in leisure club
Working with other students who are on work experience.
Working with department heads who will mentor and train during placement.
Coffee break and Lunch is provided to you on placement.
Please note you must be 16 years or older to work in the bar area.
