A remarkable Burren Sheep Farm with a direct connection to Ireland’s Bronze Age & Medieval Ancestors.
We are a family business founded almost 20 years ago - we provide fort tours, sheepdog demonstrations and operate an archaeology field school during the summer season.
We have opportunities in the cafe and customer service, front of house and maintenance teams.
Placement Details
Our intention here is to give someone a broad experience of what it's like to work in a busy visitor attraction. So we are aiming to strike a balance between giving those on placement a broad experience of the work we do here and ensuring that we make the optimal use of the skillset that candidates bring to us.
Tasks you can expect to engage in will be drawn from:
Cafe assistance - supporting the cafe manager in delivering a super cafe experience / making coffee / engaging with customers / taking payments / serving tables.
Front of house assistance - supporting the front of house team in delivering an excellent service to our guests engaging with customers / taking payments / supporting shop layout and merchandising.
Maintenance assistance supporting site maintenance and ensuring that we meet customer expectations on arrival / departure.
Our goal across all our teams is to help our customers understand the cultural importance of the site and to share with them the lived experience of historical and modern life in the Burren.
