Availability:

Placements are available every week of the the year. We are always glad to have the help of TY students and they've been a valuable resource over the years.

We take students on one week placements and if we have space then they can return for a further week . We liaise with local schools and this year we have also had students from Dublin and Cork who heard about our TY placements

We are a bakery in Galway with 70 employees and 6 shops. We are open 12 hours per day.  7 days per week. 

Placement Details

Every year we work with our local secondary schools and we take 4 x TY students per week to help in our bakery.

The hours are the same as school hours to facilitate drop offs and pick ups etc. The students experience what it is like to work in a busy bakery with an international team . They help with the packaging of products and they may assist the bakers with the rolling of pastry etc. They are given breaks during the day and we provide their food etc.
