Our stunning 4-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone has a fantastic waterfront location, with scenic views over the river and town. Our County Westmeath hotel’s central position is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the train station, making travel further afield quick and easy – Dublin is under 2 hours away. 

Each of our 128 rooms is decorated with either an Ocean or an Urban theme, reflecting our 4-star hotel's lively riverside location. Many rooms have views of the waterfront and the town's historic buildings, and all have free, high-speed Wi-Fi.

Radisson Blu Athlone employee 100- 110 employees. Our employees work in our various departments within the hotel - Restaurant, Bar, Accommodation, Leisure Centre, Front Office, Kitchen, Sales, Accounts, Human Resources and Meeting & Events.

Roles within the hotel departments would include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Food & Drink service standards
  • Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly

Requirements:

  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills, you will have a passion for delivering a great customer experience
