Achill Cliff House Hotel and Restaurant 

is a family run 10 bedroomed hotel with a restaurant . We open seasonally from April till October.  The hotel does bed, breakfast and dinner for its residents and also the restaurant is open in the evening to non residents for dinner.

We employ staff for housekeeping, kitchen and dining room.

 

Placement Details

Experience would include;

Restaurant

• Setting tables for Breakfast and Dinner.
• Taking orders from customers
• Serving the food to the customers
• Removing the used dishes from table to kitchen and cleaning up the dining room sweeping floors
• washing and drying glasses
• shinning windows, place mats and polishing cutlery
• Stocking drink in fridge and serving pints and drinks

In the kitchen

• preparing salads, vegetables
• washing up
• serving deserts
• disposing of the food and cleaning fridge and cold room
• stock rotation
• baking, making pies deserts etc,
• preparing soups and sauces
• preparing fish and meats for cooking

 Housekeeping

• clean bathrooms and bedrooms daily
• hoovering, shining and cleaning mirrors, windows, furniture
• dressing beds and doing laundry
