Have you ever imagined yourself working in an animal care capacity or an Animal welfare position? This taster course will give you an insight into some of the core areas you would study as a student in this discipline.
This short course will introduce you to the world of laboratory skills, in the disciplines of microbiology/biology, laboratory techniques, chemistry and physics. Students will engage in a series of practical activities across biology/ecology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, and general lab skills, guided by a structured laboratory brief. By the end of the course, you will have gained a clear understanding of how fascinating, dynamic, and engaging the world of science truly is.
