The IGC CPD Day at the University of Limerick will offer a practical and engaging programme designed to support guidance counsellors in their professional practice while providing up-to-date insight into student life and learning at UL.
Tuesday, Apr 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 2 pm
The day will open with a welcome, followed by a timely session from Eddie Keane of the UL School of Law on ensuring fair workplace investigations, focusing on note-taking, confidentiality and procedural fairness. Attendees will also hear from Donough McGrath, R&D Director at BD Limerick, who will explore how UL works in close partnership with industry to design programmes that respond to future skills needs, alongside the UL@Work team.
